How to Get a High Search Engine Page Ranking

How to Get a High Search Engine Page Ranking
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Sean_R_Mize]Sean R Mize

One of the best ways to improve your internet marketing is to secure a great page ranking. As you know, your ranking affects the amount of traffic and sales you generate. Simply put the higher your page ranking, the higher your chances of making a sale.

Here's how you can improve your internet marketing:

1. Do a keyword analysis. You need to understand that targeting very competitive keywords will decrease the chances of your website being shown on the top 10 search page results. So, I suggest that you choose keywords or key phrases that are less popular but are still closely related to your products and services.

2. Make your website easy to navigate. If you want your visitors to come back, you need to give them great experience the first time they visit your site. They must easily be able to find the information that they are looking for and they must have easy access on all pages of your website.

3. Load your website with quality content. As they say, content is king in the world of internet marketing. You can attract more people to your website if you can offer them with the kind of information that they are looking for. Post relevant articles that talk about your products and services, issues about your chosen niche, and topics that revolve around the pressing issues and burning questions of your potential clients.

4. Update your web content regularly. You need to offer your visitors with something new each time they visit your website. You may post new articles on a regular basis or add some features that your visitors might find interesting. You can add some podcast, easy search feature, etc.

5. Build links. Launch link building campaigns that will allow you to swap links with marketers who are running relevant websites. You can also generate quality inbound links through article marketing, blogging, and forum posting. The more links you generate for you site, the more valuable it will become to the eyes of search engines.

6. Use a keyword-rich and descriptive domain name. Your potential clients will find it easier to find your website if your domain name contains relevant keywords. So, when choosing the best domain name for your site, ensure that you do a keyword research first to identify the most popular search terms within your chosen niche.

News Feeds - Make the News to Get Traffic

News Feeds - Make the News to Get Traffic
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Sean_R_Mize]Sean R Mize

If you've ever been asked to sign up for an RSS feed than you've been exposed to one of the newest and best ways to raise your audience from occasional lurkers to hardcore subscribers. RSS feeds stand for Really Simple Syndication and are used by news outlets to help provide fresh content to their viewers non-stop. Wouldn't it be nice if you could do that too? Well, you can. You can make your own news feed and post in on your website and content to provide fresh content that you didn't even have to create on your own.

Another way that RSS feeds are used are by people who browse multiple sites and are looking for particular stories. They install a news reader on their web browsers and they can then pull in RSS feeds to help them categorize and view headlines of multiple stories without having to read or visit each one. This makes the job of finding relevant information extremely easy and it allows them to really target news that they are interested in viewing.

Finally, you can take the ability to create an RSS feed and use it with your own content. Then, you can provide that RSS feed to other people who might be interested in syndicating your content. You can even charge for that, if your content is that much in demand. So, there are plenty of ways that RSS feeds are becoming more and more the ultimate way to create subscribers, generate exponential exposure, and even make money too.

9 Things to Do To Make Sure Your Next Blog Post is Read by More than Your Mom

9 Things to Do To Make Sure Your Next Blog Post is Read by More than Your Mom
Blog Promotion, Featured Posts 91 comments
Two days back I explored the myth that all you need to do is write great content on a blog for it to get readers and introduced the idea of ’seeding’ content rather than ‘forcing’ it upon readers.

Today I want to take the ’seeding’ idea a step further and give a few examples of ways that you can do it - and in the process hopefully grow your readership beyond your immediate family (not that there’s anything wrong with Mom reading your blog).

I should say that while this post contains 9 ways to promote a blog post - that I rarely use all of them at once. Keep in mind that the idea of ’seeding’ is not about forcing things but rather it is about getting things going and then letting something organic happen. You might need to put a little more effort into things somewhere along the way to keep momentum going (like ‘watering the garden’ helps a seed to grow) but the idea isn’t for force things.

So without further ado - let me share a few of the techniques that I use to ’seed’ content:

1. Tweet it
I find that one of the most effective ways to get a link to a new blog post ‘out there’ is simply to tweet it. Tweeting a link is quick and easy to do - and if you do it well it can be quite effective at both driving direct traffic to a blog post but also in starting other little viral events on other sites.

The effectiveness of this does depend a little on the size of your follower group - but other factors you can have a little more control over include:

timing your tweets to be during peak times when lots of people are on Twitter.
doing a followup tweet to your original one (I only do this on important posts and usually try to change the wording so as not to annoy people too much)
the wording of your tweet (give people a reason to click it)
making your tweet ‘ReTweetable’ by not making it too long (I keep these seeding tweets to under 120 characters to leave room for people to retweet them).
I find that when something does well on Twitter (and not every post will) that it can often trigger a secondary event on a site like Delicious. This in turn can trigger blogs to link to my posts or other social bookmarking sites to pick up links.

2. Facebook Status Updates (and other social media)
This is of course similar to Tweeting a link. I’ve not had as much success with Facebook as a promotional tool for my blogs but know of a few bloggers in different niches who find it to be more effective. Whether it sends loads of traffic or not it can be helpful in an overall strategy.

Similarly I sometimes also use other social media sites like LinkedIn’s status update if I feel that the content I’m promoting is better suited to other audiences. Again - it depends partly upon the size of your network on these sites but even a small but relevant network on these sites can trigger other bloggers to link up or secondary organic submissions on other social sites by those in your network. You never know what impact sharing a link in these sites can have until you do it.

3. Pitch it to another Blogger
Is the post you’re promoting relevant to the audience of another blog?

This is a question I’m always asking myself as I’m writing blog posts. As I write I jot down the names of other bloggers that have an audience that might find what I’m writing helpful. This means that when it comes time to promote the blog post I have a ready made list of people to shoot out an email to to let them know about my post.

I don’t send these emails out often, nor do I send them out to the same group of bloggers repeatedly - but if I genuinely think my post is of high quality and that the blogger will find it relevant I will.

Check out these suggestions on how to pitch other bloggers for some more tips on how to do this effectively.

4. Pitch it to another Twitter User
This is similar to pitching another blogger but can have a great impact as well. In fact I recently had a link from a blogger who both posted on his blog and tweeted the link and the Tweet converted much better for me in terms of traffic.

The key once again is to make sure that the link is relevant to the Tweeter and the type of thing that you’ve seen them sharing on twitter with others.

5. Share a Link in a ‘Signature’
Many bloggers have links to the front page of their blogs in both email signatures and forum signatures - but what about directing people to an individual post? There are a variety of tools out there that highlight latest posts (feedburner has one) and they make a lot of sense to me because you’re sending people to standalone articles that you’ve written rather than a sometimes confusing front page of a blog.

6. Bookmark it
This is one that I don’t tend to do myself these days but I know many bloggers who do so I’ll include it. It entails submitting your post to a site like Digg, StumbleUpon, Reddit, Delicious etc.

I don’t tend to do this any more as I find many of these sites have algorithms that penalize a site if it’s submitted by the same person over and over. What I do instead is occasionally shoot a link to another user of these sites in the hope that they’ll submit it for me. Having said this - I also find that as your traffic grows the submissions become more and more organic from regular readers so there’s less need for me personally to be involved in these types of ’seedings’ in social bookmarkting sites.

7. Guest Posts
Another method that I’ve seen a number of bloggers using with real effect lately is to link to your important blog post in a guest post on someone else’s blog.

Most people who guest post on another blog tend to link back to the front page of their blog in the byline. This is a good general link to get but if you have an important post that you’ve written that relates to the guest post you’re writing you should find a way to incorporate a link to that post - either as the byline link or if the blogger allows it - within the blog post itself.

8. Give readers an easy way to share it
Hopefully with some of the above techniques you’ve got a few readers over to your blog - now you want them to share it with others.

There are many ways to make your blog post ’sharable’. I tend to use a combination of templated techniques as well as a few custom ones that I add to posts once on posts that I think will do well on social media sites.

Templated techniques - there are many ways to build social media buttons into your blog. There are heaps of tools and plugins that will do this for you. The key in my experience is not to have too many buttons/options but to choose just a few that relate well to your audience.
Custom techniques - if I notice that one of my posts is starting to do well on Twitter or Digg or some other social media site I generally will either add an extra button to a post or add a text link pointing people to where they can tweet or digg the post. I find that these more obvious little additions to a post can often tip it over the edge to a viral traffic event.
9. Newsletters
This is a way that I often ‘tip’ posts that are doing OK over the edge into a viral traffic event. It usually works like this:

A - I write a post that I think MIGHT do well as a viral post

B - I time the publishing of that post for a Thursday morning - an update goes out via RSS to my subscribers

C - I use some of the above techniques to get the post seeded (Twitter, Facebook etc)

D - I wait until the post is submitted to Digg and then add a Digg button to the post (or some other social bookmarking site)

E - I then send out a newsletter to my list including a prominent link to the post

What I find is that without the last step (sending a newsletter) the post can do quite well - but when I send the newsletter I quite often see a ‘tipping point’ with the post and it’ll go viral on multiple social media sites at once on the back of the extra traffic that I’ve been able to send to the traffic via the newsletter.

2 Final Words of Advice
Let me finish with two words that I think are key to much of the above - persistence and relationships.

1. Persistence - There’s a real need for persistence in seeding content. Much of what I’ve described above are things that I’ve been doing for years and they’ve only become more effective the longer that I’ve done them.

My experience of finding readers is that it is all about momentum. In the early days to find just a handful of readers can be a real challenge - the above methods may not bring thousands of people through the door - however the 10 than they do bring in on your first day could lead to 100 next month which could lead to the thousands in the coming year.

You may get lucky and your seed may grow into something big in the early days of your blog - but even small results can grow slowly into big things over time. Each reader that you bring into your loyal readership is important because they have a network of their own that they could help spread word of your blog to.

2. Relationships - The other key to much of the above is to be as relational as possible. Much of the above relies upon people sharing your posts with others once you alert them to the existence of your posts. So put aside regular time to grow your network, to build a presence on sites like Twitter, to build trust and influence on other sites outside of your blog - this networking can pay off in a big way over the long term. Just do keep these other social networking sites in perspective - they’re not the main game themselves but should be used to build up your home base.

Top Five Reasons Why You Should Invest in a Turnkey Internet Business Package

Top Five Reasons Why You Should Invest in a Turnkey Internet Business Package
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Ken_Harthun]Ken Harthun

Most Internet marketers fail before they even get started. They usually end up with nothing to show for all their hard work, their credit card maxed out by hopeless AdWords campaigns and endless purchases of eBooks, videos, and "training" touting hyped up "Earn $10,000 Per Month" strategies. These things just don't work for regular people! Turnkey business packages make it possible for regular people to succeed. Here are the top five reasons why you should invest in a turnkey business package:

1. You don't have to sell anything. You don't have to pester your friends and family and convince people to buy from you. All you have to do is send traffic to your page that offers a valuable free report. The people sign up for the report and then the system does all the selling.

2. You don't have to design and create products that you hope people will want to buy. Turnkey business packages usually come with one or more tested, proven products that you can just plug into the system.

3. You don't have to be a copywriter. In a turnkey business package, everything from the squeeze pages and promotional tools, to reports and follow up email series are all done for you. You don't have to write a single word or spend money on unreliable ghost writers.

4. You don't have to learn any tech skills. All of the website pages, links, navigation and reports are all set up and ready to go. You don't have to learn a single thing about HTML, know FTP or anything that you don't already know.

5. You don't have invest a lot of cash. The cost of setting up your own system can easily exceed the cost of a turnkey business package. For example, you don't have to invest in your own domain name ($1/mo.), no need to pay for web site hosting ($10/mo.), you won't need an autoresponder ($19/mo.), and you won't need to subscribe to services for article and blog content ($67/mo.). That's $97/mo. Most turnkey business packages are much less than that.

The beauty of these systems is that if you know how to turn on a computer, check email and surf the Internet, then you know everything you need to know to use them. The only thing you may not know is how to drive traffic to the pages; however, turnkey Internet business packages typically give you detailed instructions on how to use the promo tools to generate traffic. The better packages even provide you with email or online training courses and most even have special support tools so you can get your questions answered quickly. One package that I'm currently working with has a complete training website set up and I'm able to access traffic generation training for free that normally costs $47 a month.

Regardless of whether you have your own sites going and no matter where you are in your Internet marketing experience, turnkey Internet business packages are the way to go to generate streams of cash on autopilot. For Internet marketing newbies, they're the best way to get started.

How to Boost your Business by Developing Bulletproof Trust

Miscellaneous Blog Tips 44 comments

A Guest Post by Johnny B. Truant writes from Learn to Be Your Own V.A

The other day, while we were on the phone, a client sent me $500 via PayPal for a series of tech consultations. Toward the end of the call, I noticed that I hadn’t received the money. She thought for sure that she had sent it, but offered straightaway to make the payment again.

I said, “Maybe you want to wait. I mean, what if you’re paying me twice?”

And she said, “Oh, I trust you.”

Which was a really interesting thing to say, given that this was the first time I was speaking to this woman. We had never met in person; she didn’t have my address or phone number; I hadn’t exchanged more than three or four random emails with her. For all intents and purposes, neither of us knew who the other was. But the more I thought about it, this kind of thing happens all the time. Most of my clients never hear my voice. Few have the slightest idea where I live or what my background is, and I’ve only been truly visible online for maybe six months. Yet over and over and over again, people pay me in advance for work they’d like me to do.

It kind of destroys the paradigm of the internet being a skeptical place.

So I thought about it: Why, in a realm where Verisign has to vouch for the security of a website, will customers pay some merchants in full, in advance, without question? Why are some people trusted while others are not? If a man can pose as a woman online, if an adult can pose as a child, if a scam artist can pose as a legit businessperson — then what does it take to make customers feel that a person is true to his or her word?

If you want to conduct business online — if you want to turn passive readers into active customers — you need to find a way to build that kind of bulletproof trust. Here’s how.
1. Be human

If you’re on Twitter and Facebook as “Thermodyne Systems, Inc.,” knock it off and start interacting as yourself. Talk to people online person-to-person rather than business-to-customer. Be funny if you’re funny. Be deep if you’re deep. If it strikes you to write somewhere about your dog or kids, do so. Personally, I write a humor blog that has nothing to do with my area of business. Through that site, people see how I am when I’m not being a tech guy. They see that I’m a person, just like they are.
2. Admit when you don’t know something

People seem to feel a need to appear infallible in business. If a client wants to know X and you know nothing about X, the rule is to tell him about X in as much double-talk as it takes to make it sound plausible. But here’s the thing: Nobody is perfect, so infallibility always comes across as phony. But if you buck that trend — if you’re truthful when you don’t know an answer — readers will begin to trust your honesty. Put succinctly: If you’re honest when you don’t know the answer, people will believe that you’re being honest you when you do.
3. Interact with readers in public

When readers comment on your blog, respond to those comments. Get the “Subscribe to Comments” plug-in so that commenters will know when someone (like you) comments after them. When readers ask questions of you anywhere in public, answer them as fully as you’re able. Interact on Twitter, forums, other blogs, or wherever your readers hang out. You want them to see you as one of the group, not as an untouchable speaker on a high podium.
4. Be responsive in private

It’s amazing how many people thank me for simply responding to emails. One or two people have even given me permission to “blow them off” if I didn’t have the time. You don’t have to send detailed, lengthy replies to everyone who contacts you, but it’s amazing how much goodwill you can engender by being one of the (apparently) few businesspeople who respond to inquiries quickly, thoroughly, and personably.
5. Give away a ton of free information

Writing your blog is a great way to give away your knowledge, but think even deeper. Should you publish a newsletter? Can you answer more personal questions from readers? This may feel like a time drain, and you may even be tempted to charge for time spent giving answers, but tough it out. What you gain in favor and trust from answering gratis will net you far more more than a shortsighted hourly billing mentality. The $500 consulting client I mentioned in the intro? She came to me because months ago, I helped someone she liked, without billing that person a dime.
6. Tell customers what’s in it for you

There’s a big debate around whether you should disclose affiliate links on your blog. Personally, I love disclosing them. I love any opportunity to open my books, to show readers exactly where my money is coming from. Why? Because many of my services are inexpensive, and can remain so because part of “what’s in it for me” is an affiliate commission. I could hide that, but then customers would wonder how I could set up a blog for only $39. Are the blogs of poor quality? What’s the catch? By revealing my sources of income, I remove those suspicions and show customers that I have no hidden motives.
7. Genuinely, honestly, truthfully look for the win-win

Be careful on this one. Everyone gives lip service to the idea of a “win-win,” but most people are really trying only to benefit themselves. I never, never, never steer clients toward something I feel they don’t need. I will actually steer them away from a sale I think won’t benefit them. But — and here’s the rub — I can’t count the number of times one of those people have come back, given me more business, and told their friends about me because we both “won” in our interaction.
8. Establish social proof

Buyers want to know that other people have purchased before them and have been satisfied. Your goal should be to create raving fans — customers who can’t say enough good things about you. Solicit testimonials. Ask satisfied customers to refer their friends. And if you can swing it, try to write for (or otherwise associate with) well-trusted websites and personalities. You’re judged by the company you keep, and association with trusted people allows some of that trust to rub off on you. My business ratcheted up when I started writing for IttyBiz.com, and again after I had a few posts on sites like Problogger and Copyblogger. Intentionally or not, authority sites give at least a little bit of tacit approval to everyone who appears on them.

If you want to do business online, you have to know your stuff. You have to be credible. You have to be good at what you do. But without trust, you’ll never make it. So, how trustworthy are you? The answer may well make or break your business.

What Is SEO?

What Is SEO?
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Sean_R_Mize]Sean R Mize

With the powerful dominance of the search engines on the Internet and the unprecedented usability and functionality that these entities have in the online arena, one cannot help to ask and think about how to achieve a much friendlier environment with them. Such queries and mind curiosities brought about yet another phenomenon that people have to ponder upon - the search engine optimization or the SEO.

An attempt to give a better and much concrete definition to Search Engine Optimization has reached a very monumental stage. Not so long ago, one great Internet expert and enthusiast has defined the term search engine optimization that has been used by many online encyclopedias such as Wikipedia and Webopedia to name a few as the method that is first and fore mostly aimed at the improvement on the popularity and recognition that a website may have on popular search engines -thus, the word optimization of the search engine. With SEO, what is basically being made it to make sure that the web site or the web log or any site portal that you have shall gather and gain in optimum, more and more prominence in the online arena.

What is interesting about search engine optimization is the fact that with the use of this popularity method, you get to sustain and maintain a higher notch on the ranking and indexing as regulated and provided by the search engine. It may be strenuous job for some people to get engaged with the whole process of search engine optimization but generally, every aspect of it becomes a fun and enjoyable endeavor when it is done and made on a much lighter perspective.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) 2

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) 2
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Sean_R_Mize]Sean R Mize

Hopefully, you did some keyword research when you were looking up niches for your potential web sites. Even if you didn't, you can still pull up some interesting keywords for indexing, categories, and titles just off the top of your head. They may not be as valuable as some of the ones you've researched, but don't underestimate just good old fashioned brainstorming. This in combination with the All-in-one-SEO pack can still get you good results, even though it's far better to do research with the Google Keyword Tool and use that in combination with the All-in-one-SEO pack.

To use the pack as you are writing up blog posts, you will want to click on the Write tab within WordPress. Then, click on the section that says, "All In One SEO Pack" to expand it for use. You are going to add the titles, keywords, and descriptions there. Then, the pack creates the meta tags for you automatically.

There are three places you want to make sure to put your targeted keywords in when you create a post: the title, the keyword list, and the description. All of these spots help the search engines to quickly index and figure out what the post is about and how to rank it. So, whatever your keyword or keyword phrases are, you will want to make sure they appear in all three places. You also want to include the keyword at the beginning of the title, more so than at the end.

You can really ramp up the SEO in your posts by adding the keyword phrases to the content of the entire post. The search engines weight the headings and subheadings more than the actual writing, but you shouldn't over do it. Depending on the length of your post, you should try to keep the density between 1 and 2%. That means if you have a 300 word post, the keyword should only appear between 3 and 6 times, including the title, headings, and subheadings.

It's always better to put a few less keywords in than the maximum as Google will also penalize people who stuff their posts with too many keyword phrases. So, positioning the keyword phrases to show up where they are more weighted is more valuable than having the keyword show up an excessive number of times in your blog post.

Basic SEO For Site Monetization Using PPC

Basic SEO For Site Monetization Using PPC
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Sean_R_Mize]Sean R Mize

In order to use programs like AdSense and to also increase the chances of being noticed by Google's search engine, you will have to learn a little about Search Engine Optimization (SEO). While the term may sound intimidating, luckily understanding SEO is not really all that difficult.

The concept of SEO is to write content that attracts readers of certain interests, by using relevant keywords in your page title, headline, sub-titles and the body of the text content on your page.

That same information also tells Google what kind of ads to serve to your site assuming your readers will have interest in ads that have to do with your content. If you don't use SEO, Google may decide to serve up adds that pay very little because they don't have any really good keywords telling them what higher paying keywords your site is related to. Whereas, if you just spent a few more minutes adding the right keyword phrases to your content/posts, you could generate a much better payout from the higher paying keywords.

There are some people on the Internet who believe that SEO is dead just because Google doesn't pay much attention to meta tags anymore, and the only way to get high search engine results listings is by having a massive number of back links from popular authority sites is simply not true. It can still help to learn a lot about SEO and use it to increase the power to attract traffic and also to increase your bottom line if your choice of ad programs is AdWords or any ad delivery system that runs on the same premise.

In addition, you can use SEO to target your articles and press releases to make them rank higher in the SERPs (Search Engine Result Positions). By adding a few keywords that tell the search engine that you have a specific market niche in mind, it makes it really easy for it to rank your content and serve it to the people looking for just this niche. And, that's the other reason why you will want to know SEO even though you may be using Bidvertiser.com as your choice of advertiser. That knowledge can help you target profitable niches even before you decide to create a web site or write a single post.

By the way, are you a coach, consultant, entrepreneur, speaker, small business owner or online marketer who is tired of getting paid less than you are worth for your coaching and consulting?

What if you could learn how to package and sell your coaching packages for $4k, $8k, even $12k or $25k and enroll multiple clients per month at those prices?

To begin learning how you can sell your own coaching for between $4k and $25k per client, download my new recording: "How to Sell High Ticket Products Online" here: [http://www.secrets-of-internet-success.com]High Ticket Selling Secrets

Why You Need to Learn SEO to Effectively Use CPA and PPC Monetization

Why You Need to Learn SEO to Effectively Use CPA and PPC Monetization
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Sean_R_Mize]Sean R Mize

If you haven't even started to create your web business, you have the most to gain from learning the concepts of arbitrage and search engine optimization. It's much harder to go back to web pages that have already been written and offers that have already been created, to include the keyword phrases, particularly if you can't even find valuable keywords for that niche market.

The reason for this is that many Internet marketers put the cart before the horse when they create an online business. They think if they have a hobby of crocheting that this will make a profitable web site. They think just because it's something they love, and know thousands of other people love it too, and that are passionate enough to make it work, they can make money in that niche.

We've all heard the Internet gurus piping up with "do what you love and the money will follow." If that were true, there'd be no reason to learn the techniques for attracting traffic because all anyone would have to do is slap any website together on a topic they love and wait for the profits to roll in.

Sounds ridiculous, doesn't it? That's because it is. There's more to setting up a successful online business than just loving what you do and picking a topic you are passionate about. You also have to pick a niche that the market is excited about too, is large enough to bare more competition and that has enough disposable income to have interest in your higher paying ads and products!

So how can you figure out what that market should be? Well, actually, understanding that keywords pay out based on the popularity of a particular topic, you can easily research which market niches are worth pursuing by learning how to use the Google Keyword Tool (It comes free with your Free Adwords Account), that is used with SEO techniques. So, SEO is definitely not dead, and learning some of the tools available to help you research markets by keywords, is going to help you develop a sound business plan that leads to success.

Now if you are just getting started and haven't even gotten your first web site up, don't fret! That's the best time to find out about all these concepts. They will put your foot on the right path and increase your chances of making a good income with every new thing that you learn. And, what's best is that your sites will look more professional, attract more attention, and can be flipped to other web buyers if you decide you get tired of them. Just adding a little extra effort to learn niche marketing and SEO can make a site very attractive to prospective buyers.

Keywords Are a Part of the SEO Equation

Keywords Are a Part of the SEO Equation
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Sean_R_Mize]Sean R Mize

No matter what vehicle you use to create exposure to traffic for your sites, you will want to include keyword phrases to help the search engines rank the site for the niche traffic you want. And, in any of these third party submission archives, you should be asked for keyword phrases, whether they refer to them as tags, categories, or titles. What you want to do is weight (or give more weight to), the content so that the search engine finds it easy to understand and rank for your particular topic.

Of course, you shouldn't seek to overdo this practice as it can count against you too. Using the same keywords over and over again is considered keyword spamming by the search engines and can actually cost you position ranking in your SERPs. But, generally, you can add a keyword in the title, some in the tags or indexes, categories, and some within the content too. It generally depends on how large your articles and or press releases are as to the number of instances a keyword can be inserted without triggering a Google penalty to your positioning.

Keyword Density

If you have less than 2% of the content as keywords in the body of your content, you are typically safe. For that, there should be less than 2 keyword phrases per 100 words written, counting the title, headings, and subheadings.

You can find a Keyword Density Checker, tool here to save yourself some time. Obviously you will have to through your content into a temporary web page and pop it up on your server to use this service: http://www.googlerankings.com/ultimate_seo_tool.php

By the way, are you a coach, consultant, entrepreneur, speaker, small business owner or online marketer who is tired of getting paid less than you are worth for your coaching and consulting?

Getting Your Site Indexed

Getting Your Site Indexed
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Sean_R_Mize]Sean R Mize

Not to be mistaken for new page indexing that Google now offers 24 hour on demand page indexing for existing sites that have deployed Google Site Search on their sites. However "On Demand Indexing" now offered by Google can be useful if you decide to get serious about your hot trends business and run a Word Press Blog on your own domain. More on that later.

Site indexing is just that. Getting your new web site or blog's domain name (URL), indexed into it's search engine database. There is no hope of attaining any search engine position, low or high, without Google first doing what is called spidering the Internet with "Bots" that go out and search for new sites and new information on existing sites. These bots are generated from the numerous data centers Google has around the world. When they spider for indexing is a closely held secret. It is not on any regular schedule.

I can remember before Google was even in existence and it taking weeks to sometimes months to get a site indexed in what was the hot search engines and directories of the day. Old systems like Netscapes search engine, Web Crawler, Magellan, Excite, and others have been folded into the biggies we know today. A Few like MSN and Yahoo are a couple that have stood the test of time and the onslaught of Google. One relatively new one "Ask.com" (Used to be "Ask Jeeves), is the only newcomer in years to grow and remain a semi major player. So when I hear people complain about it taking a week to get their new site indexed on Google, I have to laugh just a little. They don't know how good they have it.

Getting your site indexed quickly in the search engines is still not an exact science. At least not in the time frames we need to get them indexed in. so we're not going to rely on them being indexed and certainly not getting 1st page search engine results. Be proactive and getting our own traffic is the key.

However I have seen the methods listed below get a brand new blog indexed in less that 24 hours. That is livable in the fast paced world of hot trends marketing. I will occasionally not mess with the following processes if I found a hot trend that is pretty iffy. I won't take time spending time on something that is a long shot. Why do I take iffy long shots? Because I can afford the time or am between other projects when I do. And it's kind of a kick when I do go for a long shot and it pays off.

With that in mind, it is still worth employing a couple of tricks I've learned along the way. These action steps will only take you a few minutes once you have the process down.

Internet Marketing - How to Optimize Your Website For Better Page Ranking

Internet Marketing - How to Optimize Your Website For Better Page Ranking
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Sean_R_Mize]Sean R Mize

As an online entrepreneur, it's very important that you have high page ranking. You would want your website to show up on the top 10 search page results so your target market can easily find you online.

Here's how you can optimize your website:

1. Use keywords on your web content. You will need to sprinkle generous amount of keywords not only on your home page but also on all pages of your website. They must be strategically placed on your content in such a way that you'll be able to help search spiders in analyzing your web content. Use keywords on your headings, on your tags and on your descriptions. However, make sure that you adhere to the appropriate keyword density to avoid being penalized by Google.

2. Build links. Inbound links tell Google and other search engines that your website is informative thus, it's worth linking to. Do an extensive research and find those people who are running a website that compliments your website's theme. Get their contact information and convince them to link with you. I wouldn't lie about it; this can be a time-consuming and overwhelming task but your effort and time will surely worth it.

3. Off page optimization techniques. Aside from emailing webmasters and getting them to link with you, you can also obtain high quality inbound links from other relevant sites through article marketing, blog hopping, and forum posting. Share a slice of your expertise to online users and post your site's URL on your resource box or on your signature. If your audience were impressed with the information you offered, they are most likely to give your site a visit.

Using the Google Keyword Tool

Using the Google Keyword Tool
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Sean_R_Mize]Sean R Mize

The Google keyword tool is generally used by Internet marketers to find high paying keywords or to get ideas for keywords. It can also be used to find out how popular a particular keyword phrase is because the keyword tool gives you an ideal of the monthly search volume for each term listed.

When you first get into the keyword tool, you will be able to look up any keyword or keyword phrase, including synonyms that might be being tracked by Google in their Adwords campaigns. Once the results lists come up, you will have the option to show or hide some columns with a drop-down list that says, "Show/Hide columns." When you open that drop-down list, you will see the option to show the estimated average CPC. Choose this one to add some more depth to the list and to be able to compare the monthly search volume and popularity with the potential value of the keyword phrases.

What's nice about this tool is that you can put in one of the terms in your brainstorming list and by seeing which have a low competition with a high search volume, or a high search volume with a high CPC, you will be able to figure out which keyword phrases and associated niches will attract better advertising dollars from Google.

We are going to go over SEO more in the next chapter, but for now, be aware that what you are trying to do is figure out which of your brainstorming ideas can be backed up as a great niche for your upcoming website. So, you put in "home brewing" into the Google keyword tool and you quickly find out that while you are quite the enthusiast, others are not as interested as the term has a low CPC value and the advertisers aren't paying much.

You'll notice down the list, however, that "beer brewing" has a CPC over a dollar and a search volume of 60,500. This is better, but not by much. So, then you search more terms and you find out that wine making, on the other hand, has a very high CPC value compared to beer making and that home canning has almost no value whatsoever. So, that means, that while you might want to focus solely on beer making, it wouldn't be a good idea. That niche is too narrow to attract the type of attention you want.

Remember that there are millions of people on the Internet and you want to get a niche that can appeal to a specific market segment. Right now, if you use beer making, you will attract some attention, but not much. And, worse, the advertising dollars don't appear to be going there as much as with wine making. So, if you choose wine making, again it's a better niche, but is this too broad a niche? Are you going to be able to target just those people who wan tot make wine at home, and not everybody who wants to drink wine on special occasions? So, you look up more keywords and find more targeted phrases like "wine supplies" that have a good CPC and search volume without being overly competitive.

Tips For Effective SEO
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Sean_R_Mize]Sean R Mize

When Google changed the rules for SEO to make it harder for black hat Internet marketers to game the search engine, many people felt that SEO was dead. However, there is still a place for SEO techniques, not just to attract traffic, but also to monetize your site. The problem comes in when people start following formulas that don't change and adapt with the market.

SEO is time-sensitive. What may be a brilliant strategy in one time-frame can end up being panned by Google in another. That's what happened with all those people who took such great care to stuff their meta tags with keywords. Now, they're basically ignored. If that was their entire SEO strategy, it would have left them with a rapidly declining page rank and virtual anonymity in the search engine result pages. So, try to follow good, time-tested, rules of practice that can keep your site active and ranking near the top of the search engine pages.

These strategies may sound like common sense, and they are. You should try to keep up with changes as Google changes their algorithm so that you don't end up being affected negatively by a change in their policies. But, using straightforward common sense can also help to keep you doing fine when others are scrambling to implement new strategies to make up for poorly thought out choices earlier. So, let's review some ways to make the SEO in your articles and press releases have a timeless quality to them.

Choose Familiar Words

Don't try to get too fancy or hog all the trendy words coming out for SEO keyword phrases. While they are great for a short time, they'll eventually fall out of favor and so will your traffic. Try to stick to keyword phrases with familiar words in them that also have been checked for low competition, high CPC and search volume. You may not get everything you want from those criteria, but try to get whatever you can.

Choose Words That Follow The Goldilocks Rule

The keywords you want to focus on shouldn't be too narrow or too broad in scope, just like your website niche. That's to help you target the demographic in a way that generates the most traffic that you can from it.

Start Small

If you don't have a whole lot of time to devote to SEO, don't worry about it. What's most important is to get a start on it. You can start with just developing a niche from SEO research or using it to add value to your advertising campaigns. Don't feel like you have to go whole hog and flood every press release with tons of keywords. Don't think you're not doing it right if you don't have time to join a social network or write for article directories. Do what you can and learn as you go.

Internet Marketing With Duplication System - To Do Or Not to Do

Internet Marketing With Duplication System - To Do Or Not to Do
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Tanny_Lahav]Tanny Lahav

Affiliate marketing will work if you know how to use a duplication system. When you join a new affiliate program you will learn about this system and how well it works for others.

The duplication system is used by all successful internet marketers and it has two sides. One positive side of the duplication system is the ability to learn from your sponsors previous experience, learn from their mistakes and never do them again and learn all the methods that work and bring results and repeat them over and over again.

A good sponsor will help his downline and share his experience with them, teach them everything he knows about internet marketing, what work for him and what not. He will offer his help to his affiliate and motivated them to copy his actions and get the same results as he is.

Affiliates who wish to become successful internet marketers want to have this kind of sponsor. The inexperienced newbies will always seek for help and guides; they don't know what to do and when they have a system that provides a step by step guide for working online they will follow this guide.

However duplication has another negative side. Duplicating your sponsor methods and actions is highly recommended, however, duplicating content is forbidden and may end with severe consequences.

One way to build credibly in internet marketing is writing articles, submitting them to article directories and posting regularly on blogs. Thousands of internet marketers all over the world are writing articles and blog posts every day. Copy their content without giving credits is forbidden.

If you wish to publish someone else's article on your blog, provide a credit to the writer and a link to his site. If you copy the article from an article directory, the article will have a resource box for you to use on your blog or website.

If you copy an article and post it as your own you are taking a huge chance. The search engines love content, but they love unique and original content. When the search engine discover that your content is a duplication your website may end up in the search engine sandbox, and usually websites that ended in the sandbox are not getting out.

Being banned from a search engine is not something you wish for your business. It means that all traffic you ever received from the search engines will be gone and it will take a lot of hard work to start all over again.

When you find duplications of your content, report this person and edit your web page completely. It is worthless to contact the one who duplicated it.

For conclusion, duplication is good when it comes to taking action and learning how to use various internet marketing methods, but it can also be an enemy when content and online information is involved. Duplicate your sponsor and not his articles and you will see great results.

How to Make Money Online by Proven Methods of Successful Internet Marketers - Part VI - HP Sales

How to Make Money Online by Proven Methods of Successful Internet Marketers - Part VI - HP Sales
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Rod_Erb]Rod Erb

Technology is moving at the speed of mind. Business is moving at the speed of sales. Online Businesses are the power of both. This is the Sixth in a series of learning the many types of successful online businesses in the age of the internet. This article discusses "High-Powered (HP) Sales Promotions."

The category "High-Powered Sales Promotions" is a term I use for the "hype" of how to make money on the internet by just joining the "promoters" program for $XX dollars. Be very wary of these "charlatans" who are no more than "wolves dressed in sheep's clothing". They are not out there to teach you serious money making techniques or money making methods using a proven money making plan. They are there to simply take your money. Their scams then leave you to figure out how to do what they say is ridiculously simple and that they have seemingly done successfully. All they really have done is succeeded in ripping a lot of people off.

Unfortunately, when financial times are bad people become desperate and as a result fall prey to these "wolves". They will put on a "paid programming" that will catch your eye while you are up late and can't sleep and the next thing you fall victim. They put "authorities" on these programs who are nothing more than actors paid to lie and do so with such passion and conviction, how could you not believe? Just ask yourself one simple question as you watch these programs, "if it were this easy wouldn't everyone be rich? "

The drawbacks to this category for making money on the internet are:

(1) Ethics and being sucked in by people willing to cheat you

(2) Being "promised" by "paid actors" that you will be rich beyond your wildest dreams

(3) Paying monthly fees for a network of information that takes months to decipher

(4) Paying a one time fee for a "new" product that is "guaranteed" or your money back

For anyone interested in easy ways to make money online these "High-Powered Sales Promotions" are not the way to go. Proven ways to make money on the internet require sound business plans with fundamental good business structure. Words, words and more words are just that, words. "High-Powered Sales Promotions" are not the category of supposedly successful internet marketers to make money online by proven successful ways. You have to recognize that systems to make money online are time tested and established. Do your homework before you get sucked in to anything other than a legitimate business opportunity.

Next time, I will discuss "Multi-Level Marketing (MLM)" in the series "How to Make Money Online by Proven Methods of Successful Internet Marketers. This will be Part VII."

Making money online is an opportunity anyone can embark upon. Doing it successfully is the challenge that all adventurous entrepreneurs must learn. Learning from those who have made their fortunes is a great start and the internet is a vast untapped frontier of opportunity. Your success is directly proportional to your effort. What you need is a coach to help motivate you to a successful online business with optimal effort. Product Funnel Creation - 5 Marvelous Secrets to Improve Your Product Funnel Creation

Product Funnel Creation - 5 Marvelous Secrets to Improve Your Product Funnel Creation
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Sean_R_Mize]Sean R Mize

Are you not making enough sales through your product funnel? Then, it's high time that you do some improvements. Here's what you can do:

1. Improve your product line. Check your low-end, middle-end, and high-end products. Make sure that they are working as designed and that they are worth every penny. If not, improve them to make them more useful, more effective, and more valuable to they eyes of your target market. Also, make sure that they are way better compare to similar products being offered online. By doing this, you can make your offerings more saleable.

2. Generate leads. You will need to do this on a daily basis to increase your chances of making a sale. Do cold calls, resort to email blast, and advertise like crazy. The more attention you generate, the better.

3. Communicate the benefits of your products. This is the best way to get your prospects to buy from you. Tell them ahead of time what they can expect to get from your offerings so they'll know what they'll be getting in exchange of their money.

4. Make your clients happy. This is the secret to move these people farther down to your funnel. If they feel that they are getting great value for their money and if they are having a great time doing business with you, you can be assured that they'll come back over and over again.

5. Feedback. If you are clueless as to what you are doing wrong, get your clients to help you out. Encourage them to send in their feedback and suggestions so you'll know what improvements you need to make.

The Affiliate Conspiracy Review - It's About Exposing The Secrets Of PPC

The Affiliate Conspiracy Review - It's About Exposing The Secrets Of PPC
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Leon_Lioe]Leon Lioe

Affiliate Conspiracy is the newest Internet Marketing product created by Eric Rockefeller. It consists of not only ebooks and special reports but also a complete series of video tutorial showing you almost every facets of internet marketing. But let me say right off the bat that the primary focus of this product is on pay-per-click (PPC). If you're not using or planning to use PPC, this product is not for you.

Everything about how to make money using PPC (especially Google AdWords) is covered in details. You'll discover secrets and tips like how to achieve high CTR, increase Quality Score, reduce the cost per click, spy on competitors, develop landing pages that increase sales, plus all the tools Eric has been using to rack in thousand of dollars every single month.

In my humble opinion, the most valuable part of Affiliate Conspiracy is when the author exposes some of his profitable PPC campaigns. He shows you step by step how to set up his profitable campaigns from scratch in videos. It's as if you're standing right behind him and watch over his shoulder as he demonstrated how easy it is to make a fortune online.

I also appreciate that Eric provides some great presell copy templates for zero cost, these templates will save you a lot of time and he also reveals the secret of how he increased the sales conversion by 230%!

Affiliate Conspiracy is a very well-rounded guide. For example, if PPC is not your cup of tea, there are series of video tutorials showing you how to use non-PPC methods like setting up a blog, building Squidoo lens, building HubPages, using PLR, Joint Venture, and many more. However, these are not covered in depth as the main focus is still on PPC as mentioned before.

The techniques revealed in Affiliate Conspiracy are tried and proven to work, but don't expect immediate result. Just like anything in life, some efforts on your part are needed and there will be challenges and roadblocks, and you'll stumble along the way. Just like when you first learn how to ride a bicycle. You fell, you got up and you tried again.... you fell again, got up and tried again.... and you fell, you got up and tried again.... and again. That's how most of us learn how to ride a bike. And let me tell you that learning how to make money online is no different. Please remember that.

One Major Drawback:

There is one major drawback I find in Affiliate Conspiracy. There is a lack of information on how to actually build an income-generating site. It would be very useful if Eric could make a video tutorial on this topic. Something like building a site from scratch, how to get indexed by the search engines, how to generate immediate traffic, and making an actual sales.

I have information on how to overcome the above drawback, you can read it at my [http://online-business-journey.com/blog/product-reviews/affiliate-conspiracy-review/]Affiliate Conspiracy review site. Check it out!

Book Review - Letting Go of the Words - Writing Web Content That Works by Janice Redish

Book Review - Letting Go of the Words - Writing Web Content That Works by Janice Redish
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Cindy_King]Cindy King

Letting Go Of The Words is a must read for anyone that has any involvement with a website or blog. This is not about the tools you need or anything technical.

This book is about web content and information strategies. It's about "planning, selecting, organizing, writing, illustrating, reviewing, and testing content"... that gives readers a successful and satisfying web experience.

Letting Go Of The Words is the best book on writing content for the web that I have come across. If you want to have a solid foundation on content strategy you will devour the 350 pages. You will cover all the aspects you need for creating a content strategy online. By simply reading this book, you will learn what you need to put on your website and why.

And it is very easy to read. You do not need to read it from front to back, but read the chapters that are the most important to you fist. The fact that the book is written this way makes it a great reference tool that you can go back to for answers to specific questions.

After reading that chapter or two that is important to you right away something becomes obvious. It is really worth reading the book and not just skimming through it. Ginny did not write any fluff in this book, like the title says; she was writing content that works.

If the subject is of interest to you, you will probably also like it as a leisure read because the easy-to-read guidelines and examples for writing web content are just that readable and effective. Sample chapters are available on line; Chapter 1 Content! Content! Content! and Chapter 5 Writing Information, Not Documents.

The book breaks down writing good web content into small steps and explains why each step in important. Very few books give you such an educational approach in an easy to read and colorful format. Ginny has used a graphics in a very effective way, just as a writer should with their web content - the graphics are easy to understand and clearly connect to the subject matter.

Letting Go Of The Words goes beyond simply explaining the reasons why. It does a great job at teaching you how to write good web content through examples.

There are many examples throughout all of the chapters
There are examples of what not to do
These examples are followed with examples of how to make the web pages better
There are sections on press releases and on legal documents
There are tips to make your content easier for people with special needs
There is always a quick reference in bullet points at the end of each chapter to summarize the essentials

Could it be read by non-Native English speakers? Yes, Ginny writes with an easy-to-read style and the organization of the book make it very easy to understand. There are very useful 'before and after' examples. The level of the readers English should be a solid intermediate level to understand and take advantage of all of the examples given.

I particularly liked the way how Ginny brings home the important aspects of web content by approaching them from different angles in the different chapters. One example that comes to mind is a set of three images used. The first is a picture of a website as it appears online. The second is a picture of the same website with certain areas grayed out slightly to show what the average reader really doesn't see. The third image is what the website should look like, to take full advantage of both the page and the eye motion most readers use.

It is often difficult to explain just how you need to keep your website readers in mind when writing for them. People often understand one aspect of doing this and leave out the other aspects needed to provide good web content. Ginny has included case studies to show how people have actually improved their websites, following her methods.

After reading this book you will approach the question of writing web content for your readers differently. Your approach will be more global. You will see how to write to give your readers a successful and satisfying experience. And you will get it.

Thank you Ginny for such a useful book. Letting Go Of The Words has helped me decided to have a look at the other books you have written. It is rare to find an author who explains things as well as you do in such an easy to understand format.

Article Marketing Domination Review - Does Article Marketing Still Work?

Article Marketing Domination Review - Does Article Marketing Still Work?
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Leon_Lioe]Leon Lioe

For those who are doing Internet Marketing or Affiliate Marketing business would totally agree that "targeted traffic" is one of the most crucial elements for success. Because targeted traffic are your potential buyers; these are people who are ready to take out their credit cards and buy. So more targeted traffic means more sales; and more sales = more money. On the other hand, no traffic = no sales = no money.

There are basically two methods to generating traffic to your site. The PAID and FREE methods. Example of a paid method is pay-per-click (PPC) advertising such as the well-known Google AdWord system where you pay when people click on your ad. Example of a free method is Article Marketing (AM) in which you write and submit articles to article directories to drive traffic to your site.

Article Marketing is one of the oldest traffic generation methods but it is also the most powerful in terms of generating targeted traffic. Some Internet Marketing pundits say that AM is dead but I strongly disagree... those who say that perhaps never use AM themselves. As a matter of fact, this method is still the most powerful way for generating free traffic. It has proven to work time and again.

However, many techniques of using articles to build online business have changed over time. As Internet Marketing business is getting more and more competitive these days, old techniques are no longer effective. The old AM strategy still works very well but in order to dominate your niche and beat your competitors, you need to learn and use the new techniques as well. That's where Article Marketing Domination comes to the rescue.

Article Marketing Domination is a little ebook that has only 30 pages. It's written by Josh Spaulding. Josh is not like those typical IM gurus who always use hype to sell... He wrote his ebook based on extensive testing; he knows what works and what doesn't. In fact, Josh started testing the new techniques several years ago while he was still an Army stationed in Germany. He was asking some advice on article marketing to Tim Gorman (the 6-figure a month article marketer who was also a US Army officer).

Josh had taken what he discussed with Tim and went into his own secret lab and tested a variety of ways to use articles to build successful online business. That's how the first edition of Article Marketing Domination was born in early 2007. To his own surprise, the first version was so successful and promoted by many well-known Internet Marketers. It brought in over $30,000 in sales.

The ebook was a hit because it showed proofs and provided real blueprint for others to follow and use articles in a more powerful way. Today, Article Marketing Domination is in its fourth edition and Josh had completely rewritten and incorporated more powerful techniques.

Here is a sneak peek of what you will get in this new edition of Article Marketing Dominition ebook...

- The misunderstood purpose of AM method.

- The two forms of AM.

- How to compose an article that will get top ranking on Google.

- Keyword research to get top ranking for your articles.

- How to effectively submit your articles.

At the end of the ebook, you will also get a list of tools that can help you make your article marketing campaign more effective and powerful. You will also get a list of article directories that are worth submitting to. On top of that, you will also receive two bonuses: Write Like A Maniac (value $29) and The Ultimate Blogging Blueprint ($37).

In conclusion... I personally learn a lot of new techniques in Article Marketing Domination. This ebook is unique in the sense that all the methods discussed had been tried and tested. Some old methods of AM still works but if you want to use articles to build online business that can earn you a full-time income, you need to incorporate the new methods outlined in Article Marketing Domination as well.

Blogging to the Bank 3.0 Review - It's Nothing New!

Blogging to the Bank 3.0 Review - It's Nothing New!
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Leon_Lioe]Leon Lioe

The latest installment of Rob Benwell's Blogging To The Bank ebook is NOTHING new. Yes.. you've heard me right and I'm not afraid to state that as my intention is to write an honest review about this product.

But this doesn't mean that Blogging To The Bank 3.0 is totally useless and full of rehashed materials. In fact, it's a well-written ebook that focuses mainly on teaching the NEWBIES how to make money blogging with WordPress.

If you're not a newbie, and you understand/know how to do the following tasks...

1. Market/Niche Research

2. Products Research

3. Keywords Research

4. Register a domain name, set up hosting account and Wordpress blog

5. Install and set up certain WP plug-ins for SEO purposes

6. Write informative content in your blog

7. Optimize your blog for both humans and search engines

8. Promote your blog using various link building, SEO and Web 2.0 techniques

9. Monetize your blog by promoting affiliate products and displaying Google Adsense ads

10. Test, optimize and improve your monetization

11. The, repeat all over again from step 1 with another blog.

The above is the cycle of success practiced by all successful bloggers. If you're already doing these steps daily, then Blogging To The Bank 3.0 is really NOTHING new to you. So, you don't need to waste another $37 to buy it! Because you're already practising the blogger's cycle of success.

But if you are new to blogging or not familiar with the steps I outlined above, then you need to read BTTB 3.0. It's perhaps the best blogging blueprint to follow if your intention is to make money building blogs.

In Blogging To The Bank 3.0, Rob breaks down these steps/processes and shows you step by step how to build blogs that make you money. The book contains no FLUFF; you won't hear Rob's telling you his personal stories. He goes straight to the point and tell you to do this, then that, then repeat your success. Simple as that.

So, you only get to learn those actions needed to make money by building blogs. The ebook only costs $37 and I reckon it's great value for money. If you've decided to purchase it, please check out my BONUS page first (see link below). These bonuses complement the BTTB ebook and further expand some of the ideas covered.

Blog Inferno Review - A Cross Promotion Scam?

Blog Inferno Review - A Cross Promotion Scam?
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Leon_Lioe]Leon Lioe

When I came across the Blog Inferno's sales page, I actually enjoyed reading it as the owner (Colleen Slater) wrote it in a story-telling style. She is a single mom who has a full time job and only works on her online business for an hour a day. But she managed to pull in over $100,000 a year.

Over $100,000 a year with only 1 hour work a day? Really? Well, it sounds too good to be true. Outrageous claim has become a norm for any marketer who tries to sell you his/her product. Such tactic is very widespread in the world of Internet Marketing.

That's ok because I have learnt to see through hype surrounding a product. But what really turns me off is when I read about one-third down the page. When she talks about another product called Firepow - which is essentially a blogging tool created by another Internet marketer. At this point, it sounds like a cross promotion scam to me.

But she does mention that this is optional, you still can earn money using the Blog Inferno system without this tool. The tool just saves you time and allows you to achieve more with less time.

Finally, I bought Blog Inferno because the price is ridiculous low (only $27) and the action bonuses are irresistible. To sweeten the deal, she packed in 13 high-quality fast action bonuses. I immediately fall in love with few of the bonuses there because I know they could help me to be more productive and earn more money. So I think she priced her product + bonuses way too low. It's very good value for money. So I grabbed it!

But, how about the contents? Does Blog Inferno deliver?

After I download the ebook, I read it immediately. It's about 150 pages long but I skipped those chapters that were too basic for me. Even so I can't believe what I'm seeing... I mean the level of detail and the depth of information covered are simply incredible.

Basically, everything she knows about making money online while working full time and having to take care of her young kiddies at home, is laid down step by step for anyone to learn and follow.

Apart from the basic stuffs like why use blog, she also covers advanced stuffs like how to find desperate keywords, secret to getting high rankings, getting high quality backlinks from government sites, killer list building tips, traffic generation, market research, turning visitors into cash, and much more... It's one of the most complete blogging guide I have ever seen.

Whether you're a newbie or seasoned niche blogger, there will be new stuff in there for you to learn. Besides the step-by-step methods, worksheets, task plans, etc., there are also tons of video tutorials for those who prefer to learn by watching videos.

I can't find any complaint for Blog Inferno except for the cross promotion strategy she's using. I'm quite satisfied with the value and quality she provides. Well, the 147-page step-by-step guide, bonuses, videos, worksheets, task plans and other resources are surely worth much more than $27. However, I almost certain that she'll raise the price pretty soon.

Hope this review is useful for you.

To sweeten the pot, I have also included my own bonuses. If you've decided to purchase Blog Inferno, don't forget to claim the bonuses. You can take a look at my [http://online-business-journey.com/bloginferno/bonus/]bonuses here. For more free tips and advice on Internet Marketing, go to http://online-business-journey.com/

Should You Read "The Long Tail"

Should You Read "The Long Tail" by Chris Anderson?
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Lance_Winslow]Lance Winslow

Does it make sense to read books by the top Internet Entrepreneurs of the World? Well if you are an Internet Entrepreneur or you make money online then sure it does. I too am a fan of the fluidity of information flow that the Internet provides. The Internet is one of the greatest communication tools ever created for the Human Race.

I believe this is a very apropos book for any Founder of an Internet Company or small online businessperson to read. I will pick up a copy myself, because this is a very good recommendation of a book to read and it provides a glimpse of the direction of information flow.

It makes sense to see into the minds of the Google folks to anticipate the Road Ahead, which is another great book to read. I think if someone is serious about the Internet and running a successful business then they need to read all the books of all the Leading Companies that survived the .Com bust and just kept going.

There are some great books out their from the founders and Presidents of Ebay, Amazon, Cisco Systems, Oracle, IBM, Intel, AMD, Microsoft, HP, Apple, Dell, etc. and I have learned a lot and found pearls of wisdom in all of them. I therefore recommend that you do read Chris Anderson's book; The Long Tail at your earliest convenience. Consider all this in 2006.

Content Rich by Jon Wuebben - A Book Review

Content Rich by Jon Wuebben - A Book Review
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Cindy_King]Cindy King

Jon states that his book is The complete SEO Copywriting Guide for Search Engine Rankings and Sales Conversion.

What You Get Out Of This Book

At first, it was hard to situate this book. I already have some SEO copywriting skills. What else could this book offer?

As I flipped through it, a few of the chapter titles are similar to what you would expect for Search Engine Optimization:
Keyword Research
Optimizing Your Site Content

But most of the book is about writing content for good Search Engine Optimization. It is a copywriting book.

Jon caught my attention right from the beginning, my back straightened up. This book offers more than copywriting.

In the first couple of chapters I found:
Some really useful strategies for content creation.

Now, I have spent a lot of time working on my own strategies for content creation. And Jon actually taught me two very useful things:
How to analyze your web copy
How to prioritize which type of content you need to get what you want out of being online

This might seem easy for you. But I have not run across these clear tactics before. And these tactics are:
Easy
Relevant
Measurable

If you are in any way involved in writing for the web, the first few chapters alone are worth the price of the book.

The cover of the book promises copywriting for sales conversion, and Jon shows you how.

These first chapters are good examples of what happens as you read the whole book. There are little nuggets throughout the book. Nuggets to help you get maximum value out of your online content. Nuggets that come from experience.

At first, I thought I would skim through the chapters on subjects that are familiar to me.

But the book was well worth a full read. It is obvious that Jon has the experience and knows what he is talking about. He knows how to improve your web copy for better SEO for both humans and search engines.

Who Is This Book For?

Well, the book is definitely about copywriting. SEO copywriting. There are chapters for different types of online copywriting:

Web copy
Articles
Press releases
Viral copy for blogs, RSS, and Wikis
Pay per click, landing pages and banner ads
Emails and newsletters

Jon also explains the differences in copywriting between small companies and large corporations. There are case studies. And there is also a wealth of information on how to become a SEO Copywriter.

This book is great for anyone involved in web content:
Marketers, writers, and even technical web users.

What I most appreciated was how it is easy to see the strategies that go with the "how-to's". It's not often you find this mix in a book. This makes it easier to see the whole picture of writing the content and using your content to get the results you want.
